What customers say?

“ Good pu'er tea, very smooth. Aunty's fried shiitake is a must try, but if there is a crowd, be understanding lah since aunty is the only person working. ”

“ Incredibly friendly owner who takes so much time to tell you facts about the tea you are drinking. We’ve had a 40 years old Liu Bao and a Ripe Pu Erh which were both extremely calming. I recommend taking at least an hour or more if you go. ”

- Pouja M. -

“ The shop owner, Liang Sen, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She explained the process of brewing and pouring tea very well. My partner and I tried the 30 years aged liu bao and spent about 3 hours enjoying the tea experience. ”

- Lara Saber -

“ Excellent tea house ! I spend 2h in there, and the owner, Liang Sen, explained me everything about tea, how to serve it, and how to appreciate it. It was a really really nice and peaceful moment, out of time. Don't hesitate, just go ”

“ We had an amazing experience stopping by one afternoon and staying for 2,5 hr enjoying most delicious teas we’ve ever had. We brewed Longjing and white tea, and smelled many others. The place is very airy and the owners are incredibly welcoming. Liang Sen shared spiritual tea stories and tips on how to indentify the highest quality Longjing. Highly recommended for all tea enthusiasts! ”

“ I am reminiscing old times where this used to be the hangout place for us, then students. The tea-house has been operating at this location since 1999. Take a seat on the tatami or at one of the antique tables and chairs . There is plenty of natural light, with soothing music playing in the background. There's no menu; you may want it omakase, or pick your choice based on recommendations by Madam Leong, a knowledgeable "tealogist". I enjoyed a pot of 50-year old Liu Bao tea. The elderly say tea is medicine, especially when it has aged significantly. There are also simple snacks and some noodle dishes. I had a casual chat with Madam Leong, like old friends. That's how comfortable the place is. Definitely a place to linger around and relieve daily stress or gather with good friends. ”

“ Good tea and setting to spend time. Owner is knowledgeable and willing to guide is through the process to appreciate the tea. We really enjoyed the experience. However it can be a very long wait when the place starts to fill up. If not for the long waiting of food and service, place wud have been fantastic. ”
